This was a 2nd batch of ferns, ordered about 3 weeks apart. These were much smaller and less robust than the 1st set.

Shipment came promptly. The roots looked healthy and had some buds. This is my first time planting bare root plants. I am excited to see the result. Will definitely order again.

I ordered three ferns to go in an extremely shady corner. I am hopeful they will help fill out this space next summer. The plants arrived looking super healthy and they have settled in well. It turns out the soil is rather shallow because of a concrete ledge about six inches down, so that's a bit of a concern. But the soil is good and any problem wouldn't be from the stock.

I ordered a group of ten planted the roots the day after they arrived. Roots looked healthy. Time will tell!

These arrived in good shape, minimal roots, extremely dry, and showing strong signs of being ready to grow. I am very hopeful for these and have started them in the basement under grow lights to control the temperature while they establish some roots.
